Darlington Primary Schools Football Association
In 1999 there was no Interschool Football League or cup competitions taking place in Darlington Primary Schools. We formed Darlington Primary Schools in 1999 and setup league and cup interschool football and it was a fantastic success. Then years later we introduced the girls league and cup, we have since seen a year by year improvement in the standard of girls football. Since 1999 to date thousands of Darlington children have enjoyed the thrill of representing their school.
Since 1999 Paul and Tony Cox and now Tommy Hurworth have selected a Darlington Boys District team to compete in County Football in County Durham and Northumberland each season. In a regular standard of competition our youngsters have brought home trophies on a number of occasions. The youngsters are selected from Primary Schools in Darlington, Newton Aycliffe and the Speenymoor/Ferryhill area.
